Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking an Electronic Technology Analyst 2/Eletronic Technology Analyst 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
This position is currently contingent on program award and associated program award funding. Start dates are determined after funding confirmation.
**This position may be filled by either at the Electronic Technology Analyst 2 level OR at the Electronic Technology Analyst 3 level based on the qualifications listed.**
The Electronic Technology Analyst will possess Skill/Ability to apply engineering principles, theories, and concepts; Experience with industry practices and standards is a plus; Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform professional tasks;
Essential Functions:
Plans and coordinates troubleshooting of fielded subsystems via sustainment
Establishes bench configurations with Lab operations for the receipt and test of subsystems
Develops bench test procedures
Supports System Integration teams, prepares baseline Supplier Statements of Work and associated subsystem development schedule
Reviews subsystem requirement and development specifications for compliance to System level requirements
Supports metrics development and develops subsystem verification matrix with supplier
Reviews engineering drawings for subsystems compliance
Develop with CDM supplier contracted deliverables such as documentation and prototypes; supports cog engineer to review/analyzes proposed changes to subsystem product design determining effect on overall system
Coordinates with manufacturing subsystem modification records for management control, supports engineering with establishing change orders and prepares for change authorization
Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
Has experience or demonstrated Problem Solving of problems of moderate scope and complexity; Discretion/Latitude Works under only very general supervision.
Basic Qualifications:
Electronic Technology Analyst 2:
High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience in electronics, avionics or logistics.
Must have an Active DOD Secret Security Clearance.
Experience with military or commercial aircraft hardware/software
Basic Qualifications:
Electronic Technology Analyst 3:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience in electronics, avionics or logistics.
Must have an Active DOD Secret Security Clearance.
Experience with military or commercial aircraft hardware/software
Preferred Qualifications:
Some college in a STEM field or certificate in a tech related topic
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to understand and translate technical instructions
