Northrop Grumman’s Global Operations Security is seeking a striving Information Systems Project Manager in the Oklahoma City area ready to gain and apply enterprise-wide experience to ensure the security, reliability, and availability of multiple systems/platforms in support of our Nation's defense. 

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

  • Leading and directing project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations.

  • Assessing project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Developing mechanisms for monitoring and reporting project progress.

  • Preparing project execution plan and identifies appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team.

  • Ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical requirements of the assignment.

  • Keeping current on advances in the field of IT.  Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.

  • Working closely with Program Security to ensure solutions best meet the requirements within the existing infrastructure.

  • Researching vendor documentation and work with other supporting organizations for troubleshooting solutions.

  • Establishing/maintaining inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.

  • Representing the IT team and organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

  • Reporting Metrics in accordance with performance objectives.

  • Reviewing trouble ticket queues to identify issues that need to be addressed.

  • Managing ticket queue to ensure issue resolution within established SLAs and raising issues that require management attention or involvement.

  • Establishing and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Exhibiting good communication skills, an energetic approach, and patience with customers.

  • Lifting equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.

This position may be filled at a higher level based on the qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 2:

  • Associate's degree and 4 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience OR Master's degree and 0 years of experience; 6 years of experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree.

  • IAT Level II certification (ex. Security+ CE) or greater.

  • Active DoD Secret clearance.

  • Ability to be cleared to special access programs.

  • Technical experience and a full knowledge of related IT disciplines. 

  • Experience with development of technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

  • Experience with wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field. 

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:

  • Associate's degree and 7 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience OR Master's degree and 3 years of experience; 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree.

  • IAT Level II certification (ex. Security+ CE) or greater.

  • Active DoD Secret clearance.

  • Ability to be cleared to special access programs.

  • Technical experience and a full knowledge of related IT disciplines. 

  • Experience with development of technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

  • Experience with wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or other technical based degree.

  • DoD Top Secret clearance.

  • Experience operating under and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments

  • Previous experience managing complex projects, as well as troubleshooting processes and best practices; experience with systems integration, capacity analysis, and system architecture design.

  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware in a networked enterprise environment

  • Linux/Windows Server management experience

  • Networking experience, including subnets, routing and VLANs; Cisco experience and/or certification

  • Solid understanding of Enterprise-level storage concepts

  • Windows Active Directory, LDAP, VMWare, and knowledge of SAN storage systems

  • Linux Operating System experience and/or certification for current versions

  • VMWare (current version) experience

  • Red Hat Satellite Server, Ansible experience

  • Familiarity of enterprise backup solutions and disaster recovery methodologies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.

Salary Range: $67,400 USD - $101,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $83,000 USD - $124,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
