Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst (FSO/CPSO) for our Tucson, AZ. location

Job Responsibilities:

· Responsible for supporting and administering personnel security aspects for Department of Defense and civilian agency customers to include the facilitating and record management of all investigation/re-investigations for security clearances. administering and management of all customer required training; primary support and liaison between the customer and business for all personnel security matters.

· Administer security programs and procedures for classified, CUI, or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.

· Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.

· Maintain manuals outlining regulations, and implement processes and procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records and for granting personnel and visitor’s access to restricted records and materials.

· Implement various plans to include OPSEC, Emergency Action, facility policies and procedures.

· Conduct meetings, security education classes, various security briefings, and security audits, as required.

· Conduct initial pre-screening interviews of new hire candidates. Process all clearance actions in accordance with government and company PERSEC procedures.

· Familiar with classification management process and classification guides associated with DoD information.

· Conduct security education and awareness training, investigate security violations and incidents. Prepare reports specifying preventive action.


Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED and 14 years of related security experience. Will consider a Bachelor's degree and 10 years work experience, or a Master's degree and 8 years of related security experience.

  • Current/active Secret clearance with the ability to successfully obtain a Top Secret clearance with polygraph.

  • Experience writing DD254s, and other contract mechanisms.

  • Demonstrated excellent judgment and decision making skills.

  • Ability to analyze problems and identify solutions.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to develop and render concise reports, summaries and formal presentations.

  • In-depth knowledge of NISPOM, Executive Orders, and DoD Directives. 

  • Working knowledge of government databases: NISS, and DISS.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Top Secret clearance with polygraph.

  • Experience with SIMS.


Salary Range: $89,800 USD - $134,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
