Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking a Principal Data Management Analyst to join our growing team of diverse professionals.  The selected candidate will work as a full-time teleworker.
 
Responsibilities: 
•    Support program Configuration Management/Data Management (CM/DM) requirements. 
•    Plans, coordinates, implements and administers program data systems, data bases and document control tools to support program CM/DM requirements
•    Builds logical models of program CM/DM systems, libraries, processes and workflows.
•    Reviews and reports on program data metrics to benchmark effectiveness of CM/DM performance
•    Plans and supports customer access systems and data exchange methods to facilitate an effective collaborative environment 
•    Ensures data quality alignment across multiple projects and programs aimed at consistency in naming conventions and promote the sharing and reuse of data across applications and business areas
•    Ensures that data analysis goals are met
•    Contributes to data management internal projects as well as the upgrading of standards and best practice guidelines
•    Works closely with the program, customer representatives, CM, functional organizations, and suppliers to ensure that program data models are accurately implemented

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Must have one of the following:
    • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of Data Management, Configuration Management, or related IT/Computer Science experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science, aviation, business, or related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of Data Management, Configuration Management, or related IT/Computer Science experience
    • Master’s degree in IT/Computer Science, aviation, business, or related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of Data Management, Configuration Management, or related IT/Computer Science experience
  • Must have experience supporting and maintaining SharePoint sites
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
  • Must be able to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time)


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members
  • Extreme attention to detail while managing a variety of tasks, and ensuring complete accuracy
  • Supporting deliverables while coordinating among other team members
  • Working knowledge of Configuration Management processes
  • Working knowledge of Statement of Work (SOW) details outlined in contracts
  • Experience working in an environment & role that requires a sense of urgency to meet challenging and/or overlapping deadlines
  • Previous CDM experience on international programs

 


Salary Range: 83600 - 125400

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
