Serves as Global Hawk instructor pilot for international launch, recovery, and sensor operations segments of international Global Hawk missions.  Conducts instructional sessions, briefings, follow-ups, and proficiency checks for students in all phases of training, in accordance with federal air regulations and company policies and procedures. Evaluates trainee progress and recommends qualification or additional training. Develops training curriculum, study outlines, and orientation materials to be employed during procedures, simulation, and/or flight training.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Aircrew Instruction

  • FAA Class II Medical Certificate (renewed annually)

  • Previously certified in Cockpit Resource Management (CRM) within 24-month period

  • Civilian FAA commercial pilot with instrument rating

  • Must me one of the following requirements (1) 1000 hours total pilot flying time of which 150 hours are primary aircraft inventory (PAI) - where PAI is the RQ4 (2) 500 hours PAI - where PAI is the RQ4 (3) Previous Instructor qualification and 100 hours PAI - where PAI is the RQ4

  • Must be able to maintain pilot rating and medical requirements for the position

  • Must be a US Citizen with Secret Clearance

  • Ability to travel at least 50%+

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RQ-4 Instructor Pilot experience

  • Classroom instruction experience

  • Courseware development experience

Salary Range: 101400 - 152200

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
