The applicant will provide field maintenance support to an electro-mechanical system nation-wide in our customer’s facilities. In addition to providing regular weekly field maintenance, the position requires weekly continuous travel (100%travel) and requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Designated focal point and liaison between site personnel and Northrop Grumman headquarters.
  • Maintaining Cabinets and Site Controllers for weekly scheduled maintenance.
  • Providing electrical, mechanical and computer troubleshooting to installed equipment.
  • Maintaining maintenance logbooks.
  • Providing status and update worksheets through website interface.
  • Providing corrective maintenance with a 48 hour response time and 72 hour correction time for customer generated issues.
  • Completing spreadsheet and word processing reports.
  • Downloading/uploading files and software patches.
  • CAC (Customer Assistance Center) Support.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel 100% of the time
  • Associate's degree with prior relevant experience, attended vocational school coupled with prior relevant work experience or completed college courses and three (3) years relevant work experience in the electro-mechanical field (Will accept HS and 4 years’ experience)
  • Must have computer skills, specifically in the area of working with site server and the Internet.
  • Ability to obtain the equivalent of a USPS Security Clearance, possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record - US Citizen

* Prior to assuming maintenance responsibilities, you are required to complete the full BDS maintenance certification training program.

*In addition, every two years you will complete a refresher training program on new and existing processes and procedures.

*Your employment is contingent on successfully completing these programs.

Military Background a plus

Salary Range: $45,500 USD - $75,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
