Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager of Enterprise-Wide Applications who possesses a background in data analytics, financial planning, and forecasting to work in the Northrop Grumman Space Systems Project Management Office.

This will be a remote/telecommuter position.

The ideal candidate must be able to effectively communicate technical principles, theories, and concepts as well as develop innovative solutions to address technical issues; demonstrate exceptional customer support skills; work well in a team environment; able to complete assignments with minimal management supervision; effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; and be able to quickly adapt to changes in the digital landscape.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Support digital transformation throughout the enterprise

  • Manage team of data analytics professionals

  • Develop vision and roadmap for IBM Cognos data and analytics products

  • Lead value stream mapping of business processes to drive opportunities for operational efficiency

  • Collaborate with business and functions to clearly articulate and prioritize data requirements

  • Collaborate with business partners/stakeholders to develop solutions and correct system deficiencies

  • Document and analyze business requirements, procedures, and/or problems to improve systems

  • Routinely brief executive stakeholders on key project status

  • Ensure solutions are tested for optimal system functionality

  • Represent the PMO in leadership forums, e.g., Space controller’s meeting

  • Responsible for ensuring system interfaces, databases and integrations are monitored and managed

  • Responsible for ensuring development of instructional materials and training

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 14 years of relevant experience in Business Systems or IT field; or Master’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience

  • Experienced in value stream mapping, data integration, requirements gathering, system definition and project management

  • Working knowledge of Northrop Grumman’s SAP and Costpoint architectures

  • Deep business acumen and specific experience with key business deliverables, such as AOP, FPRP, and rate development

  • Must be willing and able to travel

  • Must be willing and able to occasionally work outside of normal business hours (including weekends) if necessary

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), IBM Cognos Analytics (BI), SAP S/4 HANA, Costpoint, Oracle, SharePoint, and other systems experience

  • Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related Technical Degree preferred

  • Prior involvement with integrating technology and business process

  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry

  • Understanding of hardware and software requirements, design, development and testing of system integrations

  • Experience leading a SAFe or Lean-Agile portfolio

Salary Range: $141,300 USD - $211,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
