Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a QA Policy & Strategy Analyst (Level 4 or Level 5) to join our Operations Regulatory Compliance team. This position is a Full-Time role with the ability to telecommute full time and work on-site in Linthicum, Maryland, as required. The selected candidate(s) will report to the Manager, QME Regulatory Compliance.

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive internal operational and procedural compliance program and supply base strategies to ensure compliance with product regulatory laws.
  • Conduct contract and proposal reviews and provide appropriate guidance.
  • Develop and deliver presentations including general awareness training and program/function specific training on a variety of regulatory topics.
  • Conduct audit assessments to ensure implementation and effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Maintain awareness of changing product regulatory laws and regulations and provide analysis regarding applicability and impact.
  • Develop and implement programs designed to increase employee awareness and knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance policies.
  • Generate and analyze performance metrics for regulatory compliance processes. 
  • Exercise good judgement to seek management support and guidance as needed, including collaborating on decisions that have the potential to be high visibility or impact.
     

To be considered for this position, you must meet the basic qualifications listed below. This requisition may be filled as either a Level 4 Sr. Principal QA Policy & Strategy Analyst or a Level 5 Staff QA Policy & Strategy Analyst. Multiple positions are available.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of related experience or a Master’s degree with 7 years of related experience (13+ years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal guidance and supervision
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
  • U.S. citizen with ability to obtain/maintain DoD Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 14 years of related experience or a Master’s degree with 12 years of related experience (18+ years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal guidance and supervision
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
  • U.S. citizen with ability to obtain/maintain DoD Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace/Defense Industry experience
  • Working knowledge of Tableau
  • SAP experience
  • Active Secret clearance

Salary Range: $94,500 USD - $141,700 USD
Salary Range 2: $117,200 USD - $175,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
