Northrop Grumman's Next Gen organization is seeking a Sr. Security Analyst. The selected candidate works independently with direction from the Security Product Owner to provide quality, scalable solutions for security configuration in Workday. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated abilities to think creatively and strategically to solve business problems is required.

This position can be performed as a virtual telecommuter.

The incumbent must understand how security impacts all other product areas with a strong understanding of security domains and BPSPs, report security, security groups, and roles. You will consult and provide guidance on security design for Workday, providing HR system expertise and guidance on the benefits of automating and standardizing HR functionality.

What you will do:

  • Design and execute solutions for the security approach and configuration for large projects or business needs that may not be well defined.

  • Proactively seek out strategic business opportunities for the application of new or existing Workday and security configuration capabilities.

  • Translate information and requirements from business customers into documentation, solution design, and configuration of Workday domain security or BP security policies.

  • Demonstrate design options using prototyping and demos providing alternatives, risks, benefits, and highlighting beneficial and, if any, undesirable unintended impacts of the design.

  • Independently manage projects and coordinate with HR functional teams for process, system and system support initiatives.

  • Lead system implementation or release activities, providing guidance and counsel to business partners, systems analysts on design solutions

  • troubleshooting the most complicated issues reported by users

  • Provide guidance to junior team members

  • Manage multiple projects, reported issues, and customer questions, and shift focus quickly when priorities change

  • Document business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, test plans, and process flows.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and at least 9 years of progressive experience. (Appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement)

  • Deep knowledge of and experience working with Workday security configuration and capabilities. 

  • Knowledge of Agile principles and philosophies. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in Workday reporting and business processes or Workday Extend is a plus.

  • Agile certification a plus.

Salary Range: $103,900 USD - $155,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
