The Enterprise Services Sector is looking for a Sr. Principal Budget Analyst to support efforts within the Sector Support Business CoE organization. 

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Interface with program managers, functional management, and  project managers to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program and operational requirements
  • Focal point for Recurring Support for ES which include Indicated Final Cost (IFC), Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP) as well as monthly reporting and analysis on historical cost and trends.
  • Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records, monitoring requirements, and overall cost management to baseline.
  • Establishment of Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled, assessment and maintenance of objective performance criteria, maintenance and justifications of estimates to complete
  • Perform analyses and support MPM EV reporting (i.e., validation).
  • Support to internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or related field and 10 years of experience or Master’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or related field and 8 years of experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of SAP/ ERP1 or similar systems
  • Experience working in a team where members may sit at different locations
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Experience interacting with various functions and multiple layers of the organization
  • Earned Value experience


Salary Range: 85900 - 128900

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
