Northrop Grumman's Next Gen organization is seeking a Senior/Staff level Workday Lead Configuration Analyst. The lead will partner with the configuration manager to set direction for the team, as well as coordinate with other value streams and platform teams to understand dependencies and down-stream impacts.


This position can be performed as a virtual telecommuter.
 

Responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Performing Configuration as necessary.

  • Mentoring teammates and leading team on best practices and encouraging cross-training throughout all workstreams.

  • Reviewing Configuration and business processes to identify gaps and recommend solutions that align with Workday Operations guiding principles.

  • Demonstrating design options using prototypes and demos to outline alternatives, risks, benefits, and any undesirable/unintended impacts of the design.

  • Working with workstream configurators, troubleshooting the most complicated issues reported by users.

  • Managing multiple projects, reported issues, and customer questions.

  • Shifting focus when priorities change.

  • Collaborating with product owners to prioritize efforts to ensure continuous value to the business.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and at least 9 years of progressive experience (Appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement).

  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with Workday configuration in one or more HR subject area:

    • Recruiting and Onboarding

    • Talent and Performance

    • HCM Core

    • Compensation

    • Demonstrated project management skills.

    • Proficient in MS Office.

    • Ability to engage, motivate and lead diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in Workday reporting, security or Workday Extend is a plus.

  • Agile experience.


Salary Range: $129,000 USD - $193,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
