Responsibilities

  • Assists in the performance of aircraft (EA-18G preferred) flight line operational testing, troubleshooting, adjustment, repair and installation of any complex or non-complex aircraft Electrical and Avionics systems in the testing, development and modification of aircraft and related systems in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, supplier and other directives. 
  • Must be able to maintain Electrical systems, including power generation, conversion and distribution systems aboard the EA-18G.
  • Must understand and be able to perform maintenance of Navigation systems and Flight Instrument systems aboard the EA-18G.
  • Perform assembly, installation, check-out physical characteristics, operational testing and modification of wire bundles in the testing, development and modification of aircraft in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, supplier and other directives.
  • Able to use a variety of manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, heat shrink gun, etc.
  • Able to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, written instructions, etc.
  • Able to assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors and other electrical components.
  • Able to effectively communicate, orally and written, with other employees, members of supervision, and others, as required in their duties.
  • Able to clearly document maintenance and repair actions, equipment status tags, logs, parts requests, etc.
  • Able to perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment.
  • Able to perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions.
  • Order parts, pan stock, tools, materials, and equipment as required to perform assigned duties.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have EA-18G experience, to include IETMS experience
  • Must have knowledge of shop mathematics and practices and Electrical and Avionics theories and systems sufficient to perform assigned duties. 
  • Work from information such as schematics, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures.
  • 2+ years of F-18 Avionics experience
  • An active secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EA-18G experience

Salary Range: 53000 - 88300

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
