Primary Duties: 

1)

Assists in the performance of aircraft (EA-18G) flight line modification and operational testing, troubleshooting, adjustment, repair and installation of any complex or non-complex aircraft Electrical and Avionics systems in the testing, development and modification of aircraft and related systems in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, supplier and other directives. 

Must be able to maintain Electrical systems, including power generation, conversion and distribution systems aboard the EA-18G. Must understand and be able to perform maintenance of Navigation systems and Flight Instrument systems aboard the EA-18G.

Perform assembly, installation, check-out physical characteristics, operational testing and modification of wire bundles in the testing, development and modification of aircraft in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, supplier and other directives.

Duties: 

1)

Able to use a variety of manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, heat shrink gun, etc.

2)

Able to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, written instructions, etc.

3)

Able to assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors and other electrical components.

4)

Able to effectively communicate, orally and written, with other employees, members of supervision, and others, as required in their duties.

5)

Able to clearly document maintenance and repair actions, equipment status tags, logs, parts requests, etc.

6)

Able to perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment.

7)

Able to perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions.

8)

Order parts, pan stock, tools, materials, and equipment as required to perform assigned duties.

9)

Provides input of technical and operational knowledge in the assessment and repair/maintenance recommendations in support of the program assigned.

10)

Responsible for complying with all rules and regulations concerning health and safety, tool control, contracts, facilities and other pertinent coverages.

11)

Perform other duties as directed by supervision and management for the benefit of the company, program, or employee(s).

Education and/or Training Requirements:

Must have prior EA-18G experience, to include F-18 IETMS experience.

Must have knowledge of shop mathematics and practices and Electrical and Avionics theories and systems sufficient to perform assigned duties.  Work from information such as schematics, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures.

Experience Required:

8-10 years of EA-18G Avionics experience.

Occupation or Operation Requirement:

Perform basic to routine work where specific or general operation methods are available.  Judgment to make general decisions.  Responsible for the proper performance of assignments and the prudent handling of product, tools and equipment.  May be required to work with the guidance of more senior skilled employees.

Salary Range: $54,000 USD - $90,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
