Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a B-2 Mission Training Cell (MTC) Intelligence Support Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The location of this position is Whiteman AFB, MO, in support of the B-2 Spirit Aircrew Training Program.

The selected candidate will be assigned to the Northrop Grumman B-2 Aircrew Training Team, 13 BS, as an Intelligence Support Specialist supporting the B-2 Mission Training Cell.  This position requires personnel with the necessary intelligence expertise to ensure MTC missions deliver scenarios that are consistent with current threats/assets.  These personnel shall ensure realistic threat/asset order of battle data is converted for use in the MTC Weapon System Trainer (WST) missions. 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide Intelligence expertise to ensure WST missions deliver scenarios that are consistent with current threats/assets
  • Ensure realistic threat asset order of battle data is converted for use in the WSTs
  • Plan/produce WST missions and associated products to support brief, execution and debrief. Missions will include intelligence training objectives, briefs, electronic order of battle (EOB)/country-specific threats, scenarios, and scripts for console operations
  • Assist mission generation personnel in preparing missions, ensuring necessary threat/asset insight for the scenarios are consistent with training objectives
  • Brief participants on scenarios and threats to ensure realistic training is provided within MTC events
  • Provide intelligence for WST scenarios, geopolitical/threat environment and full mission build/support
  • Contingency support to MTC/advanced aircrew training in an operational environment. Order of Battle training/tactics updates to aircrew WST mission execution. Manage all threat operations and interactions through Suppressor via the IOS GUI
  • WST mission debrief—manage debrief system, perform post-mission analyses, and assess/debrief threat engagements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active DoD SECRET security Clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SAR Clearance
  • Four years’ experience as a qualified B-2 Intelligence Analyst
  • Intimate knowledge of IADS composition/performance
  • Ability to “break out” Air Tasking and Air Coordination Orders and develop MGS roles for WST missions
  • Experience operating the B-2 WST Instructor Operator Station (IOS) operations, including Suppressor and MVR
  • Familiarity with OBMT Threat Processing Tool and Current Mission Planning System (JMPS)
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office Programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Top Secret security Clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret SAP/SAR Clearance
  • Four years’ experience as a qualified B-2 Intelligence Analyst
  • Intimate knowledge of IADS composition/performance
  • Ability to “break out” Air Tasking and Air Coordination Orders and develop MGS roles for WST missions
  • Experience operating the B-2 WST Instructor Operator Station (IOS) operations, including Suppressor and MVR

Salary Range: $74,400 USD - $113,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
