Every day, our 10,000 employees do the can’t be done, solving the most daunting challenges facing our customers.  We are seeking a Principal Network Engineer to join our team in support of the U.S. Army Europe Regional Cyber Center (RCC-E) in Wiesbaden, Germany. Job Responsibilities:
- The team member will be responsible for a wide range of tasks for managing portions of the LandWarNet within the RCC-E area of responsibility
- Design, configure provision, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Ethernet, and Serial circuits for the Army Enterprise Infrastructure
- Develop, implement, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot routing and switching configurations in support of the USAREUR Enterprise networks
- Provide technical and operational assistance provisioning data networking in support of exercises and contingency support missions
- Maintain a current operational understanding of USAREUR network topology
- Document and manage the Army Enterprise In Europe for data network requirements
- Ensure that technical monitoring tools are properly installed and working
- Monitor the network and enhance the network through performance tuning
- Provide evaluation and analysis of new software and hardware products and produce requests as required
- Apply the current and emerging network software and hardware technology and protocols to networks
- Provide technical assistance to maintain and enhance the USAREUR network perimeter security, configuration management systems, and monitoring software currently in use
- Create and maintain technical security baselines for routers, switches, and other network devices as requested by the customer
- Track IAVA compliance on all pieces of maintained or administered equipment ***Due to the pandemic we are temporarily allowing partial teleworking.  This will transition to full-time onsite work once the pandemic subsides***

Basic Qualifications:
  •  A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of network engineering or related experience OR a Master’s with a minimum of 4 years of network engineering or related experience
  •  Must possess an active DoD Approved 8570 IAT Level III Certification (i.e. CISSP, CASP, GCIH, etc.)
  •  Must possess the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date, a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Juniper Network   Certified Internet Specialist certification
  •  Must posses an active -OR- have the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date an ITIL Foundations Certification 
  •  An Active Secret security clearance or higher.  US Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
  •  Experience with CA Spectrum
