Pega Senior System Architect

Peraton is seeking a Pega Senior System Architect to support the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, MD to assist our client with their digital transformation efforts. The ideal individual will have deep experience with enterprise solution architectures with a variety of technologies, but focused in low-code/no-code environments such as the Pega platform. We are seeking an individual who possesses a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to build innovative business solutions using the Pega platform. As an ideal candidate, the individual shall have experience with define, design and deploy RPA architectural solutions for clients. Good Architecture experience of RPA implementation across multiple projects. The individual shall guide a team of developers through the project completion. As a part of the solution development team, the individual shall be responsible for translating the functional requirements into the architecture for the solution. This candidate will ensure the solution architecture aligns with enterprise architecture roadmaps and adheres to enterprise architecture principles.  The Senior System Architect role is a thought leader who should possess a proven track record of leading technical design in collaboration with business and other technologists. Work will include design and build components of enterprise applications and provide consultative guidance on all project assignments for our clients and support business development initiatives.

Basic Qualifications: Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree and 14 years of work experience; Masters and 12 years of experience; or a minimum 18 years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years of relevant design and architecture experience
• 2+ years of experience in Pega version 7.x or greater
• 2+ years of experience with Connectors and Services in Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) to integrate with external systems
• 2+ years of experience with End-to-End development of Business Process using Robotic Process Automation using UI-Path. This must include translating customer requirements into PDD (Process Definition Document) and then to DSD (Development Specification Document) and detailed level designs.
• 2+ years of experience in using Ui-Path Credential Manager for maintaining, securing and retrieving the user credentials; and addressing issues that arise in a day to day running of UI-Path processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required.
• 2+ years of experience in scheduling the Bots thru Studio and Orchestrator. Experienced in staging and deploying the automation solution into test and Live environments.
• 1+ years of experience with the following:
  • Agile (Scrum)
  • Creating system architecture diagrams and documentation for review by both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as interfacing with the customer on a daily basis.
• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) certification.
• Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green card holder)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.

• Prior SSA experience a plus.
• Pega Certified Robotics System Architect (PCRSA) certification.
• Knowledge of Pega Standards and Guardrails
• Experience providing pre-sales support during PoC stages, drafting of RFI/RFP responses
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Pega CRM or Customer Service
• Experience conducting playback sessions
• Experience with process flow documentation creation, presentation and conducting trainings
• Experience with implementing DevOps (Test and CI/CD) in Pega environment
• Experience with Oracle and stored procedures using PL/SQL
• Experience with designing and implementing REST based API integration services
• Experience in Pega Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO) concepts
• Experience in developing the BOT using Flowchart and Sequence workflows.
• Experience in creating Macros to implement VLOOKUP formulas and executing from UIpath.
• Experience with publishing the bot and creating Robot in Orchestrator.
