Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems is seeking an Sr. Principal Administrative Assistant to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  The position will be located in Harrogate, United Kingdom.

In this role, the selected candidates will be highly motivated, collaborative, detail orientated, assertive as necessary, and friendly in the performance of the Administrative Assistant role.  The selected candidates must be able to professionally and effectively communicate both written/verbally with internal and external representatives of all levels; demonstrating tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment when conveying and gathering and sharing relevant information.

Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail. Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisors assignment. Will manage the Site manager/Program Manager schedule, manage meetings and help maintain program documentation.

Will interface with travelers arriving at UK site and help arrange TDY paperwork prior to arrival in conjunction with security, local business admins and other program admins located in CONUS. Directly interfaces with customer, facilitating communication between customer office and program office.

Basic Qualifications:

- Minimum High School Diploma/GED with six (6) years of additional education and/or experience

- Experience with organizing/maintaining/deconflicting schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements

- Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following active U.S. Government security clearances:

        - Dept of Defense Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years

        - OR SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years

        - OR Dept of Energy Q clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years

Preferred Qualifications:

- Associates degree

- Experience in Concur/ITRIP, I-Buy, NG My IT, SAP

- Experience in reviewing and editing written material for correct spelling and grammar

- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel

Salary Range: $63,800 USD - $106,300 USD
