If you are interested in becoming part of the Space Division team, we invite you to apply for the Sr. Administrative Assistant 4 to support our Global Supply Chain group at the Redondo Beach, CA location. This role reports to the Director Global Supply Chain Program Management for the AMS and RISE Business Units.

This position requires the incumbent to possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance to start.

Essential functions consist of:

  • Providing administrative support to the GSC Director, and the AMS and RISE GSC leadership team.
  • Setting up and coordinating meeting participants, ensure daily internal and external calendar alignment across different computer systems (open and closed); administering multiple calendars
  • Establishing extensive, frequently changing, travel arrangements, and expense reports using company travel tools (i.e. concur & itrip)
  • Host for customer & subcontract visitors to include badging & escort to meetings and maintaining office area appearance
  • Interactions with program security, cafeteria, facilities and all forms of correspondence
  • Communicating with administrative, customer and management personnel to gather or convey relevant information
  • Maintaining team phone lists and availability tracker (out-reporting) - Facilitate lunch meetings and occasional AMS and RISE event planning for the team
  • Office seating move request coordination with facilities and associated departments
  • Serving as a coordinator for various GSC program and functional IT accesses for team
  • Obtaining inputs and compiling weekly data for status reporting
  • Support reporting activities such as annual subcontract reports, security inputs, and patent declarations

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS Clearance required to start
  • High school diploma or GED with 6 years of experience in an administrative assistant and/or receptionist role including supporting managers and directors
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with a broad variety of personality types
  • Self-motivated/proactive, organized, responsive, reliable, flexible, and detail-oriented
  • Desire to work within a team and contribute
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience in business and travel expense system (Concur, Edge, or similar)
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and providing follow-through to facilitate smooth workflow for team
  • Ability to protect and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to be collaborative while being assertive as necessary and able to execute projects and tasks independently
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate d flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, and managing schedule conflicts
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills
  • Successful experience working collaboratively as a team player with the ability to interface effectively at all levels in the organization; aid to team building
  • Familiarity with and ability to operate foreign travel reporting systems
  • Experience in iBuy and office related purchasing
  • Military background preferred

Salary Range: $63,800 USD - $106,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
