Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems located in the Dayton, Ohio area is seeking a motivated self-starting administrative assistant to help support two facilities in the Dayton aree onsite.  The selected candidate will perform normal office functions and basic administrative support duties to ensure office efficiency.  These duties include, but are not limited to, setting up and maintaining files, arranging meetings and conferences, receiving and referring/answering mail, and organizing and maintaining office supply areas.  Additional duties may include coordinating travel, reviewing documents for appropriate grammatical usage, answer questions relating to office operations and established policies/procedures, and may include answering and directing incoming telephone calls.  The ideal candidate will have the following required and preferred skills.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • MS Office 365 proficiency required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Concur experience
  • Managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload
  • Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance

  • Detail oriented
  • Personable with ability to communicate with multiple department and business leaders
  • Ability to coordinate various activities, events, and meetings

This position reports to Beavercreek, OH, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Kettering, OH, OH, USA.


Salary Range: $33,300 USD - $55,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
