Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Administrative Assistant 3 to perform complex, administrative duties in support of the Sentinel (GBSD) Program. This position will be located in Roy, Utah.

What You’ll Get To Do: 

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing support to Director’s team, including scheduling internal and external meetings.

  • Coordinating calendars, travel arrangements, expense reports and all forms of correspondence.

  • Receiving, referring or answering emails.

  • Office seating coordination with facilities.

  • Maintaining various forms / files / folders / access lists.

  • Arranging meetings and conferences.

  • Recording and distribution of meeting minutes.

  • Communicating with executive, administrative and management personnel to gather or convey relevant information.

  • Answering questions related to office operations, established policies, procedures, and procedures.

  • Completing requirements in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  

Job Qualifications: 

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.

  • Experience providing Administrative or Executive support.

  • Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Experience using Sharepoint, Confluence or other software tools for sharing data in an administrator role.

  • Experience using travel and expense reporting programs and tools.

  • Experience organizing team events, meetings and reviews.

  • Experience working across various organizations and levels of leadership.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Proficiency in business and travel expense system Concur (or similar) with complex, frequently changing travel.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple administrative projects and initiatives.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to be collaborative, proactive, self-motivated, well-organized, detail oriented and assertive as necessary and able to execute projects and tasks independently.

  • Ability to exercise good judgment while demonstrating flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, managing schedule conflicts, and providing excellent follow-through.

  • Experience in planning and providing logistical support for meetings and event

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated outstanding verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to be an exceptional team player, interface well at all levels in the organization.

Salary Range: $44,800 USD - $74,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
