Working at Sperry Marine within Northrop Grumman Mission Systems means making a direct contribution to mission projects that keep our homeland safe, expanding the boundaries of possibility and reshaping the world we live in. We are seeking a Service Coordination and Invoicing Adminstrator to join our Sperry Marine team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in St. Rose, Louisiana

Responsibilities are not limited to the following:

  • Handling of all incoming service requests for service and follow-up services, locally and globally
  • Reviewing e-mails and prioritizing responses taking into account time scales, time differences, shipment of spares, urgency, commitments to customers and outside assistance (Suppliers, Tech Support, Purchasing, Sales and Finance)
  • Liaising with ships agents worldwide to arrange the attendance and shipment of parts
  • Works closely with Service Supervisor and Engineers to plan attendance
  • Linear and stable invoicing throughout the whole financial period
  • Liaising with the Shipping Department to arrange delivery of spares within given time scales, port location, local limitations, etc.
  • Responsible for providing feedback/outcome of service to customer and providing solutions for follow-up services
  • Participate in a 24/7 rotation for out of office hours, service attendances

Minimum Requirements:

Associates Degree or Equivalent

Proficient in reading/writing/speaking English

Prior experience in Customer Service/Customer Relations Field

Prior experience with Financial Transactions, handling of Customer Accounts and invoice procedures

Prior experience in Order Fulfillment processing

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Skilled communicator with ability to handle high-volume correspondence daily

Prior experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Tools/Software

Must be a highly organized, self-starter with the ability to work well with minimal supervision and with a team

Must have excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize urgencies

Preferred Requirements

Prior experience in Customer Support activities related to Marine Navigation Industry

Knowledge/Experience with Marine Navigation Equipment

Prior experience in routine logistics, procurement and sales processes related to international trade compliance

Prior experience with billing/accepting Government Contracts


Salary Range: $44,800 USD - $74,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
