Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Capture Management Manager 3. This position can be located in any of the following geographical areas:

* NAS Whidbey Island, WA

* Nellis, NV

* McLean, VA

*NAS Fallon, NV

This individual will lead capture-related activities for opportunities across a wide customer base, including the US Navy, US Air Force, US Army, DARPA, and other DoD communities.

The successful candidate will work closely with all of Northrop Grumman’s functional organizations including NGDS’ leadership team and other industry and government partners.

This position will require up to 25% travel.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Capture Leadership
• Opportunity identification and shaping
    *Opportunity qualification  
    *Business case analysis
• Customer relationship management  
    *Customer acquisition approach analysis and shaping
    *Professional relationship development and maintenance with key decision makers
    *Government Relations collaboration on customer engagement strategies and execution
    *Future customer requirements analysis and planning
• Capture strategy development and execution
    *Customer and competitor assessments  
    *Congressional budgetary and appropriation analysis
    *Price-to-Win analysis o Offer design  
    *Workforce planning  
    *Teammate/supplier selection and relationship management  
• Threat identification and mitigation
    *Internal briefings to the NG Defense leadership team
Ethics
*Ensuring new business activity is carried out in accordance with government, customer, and Northrop Grumman policies, procedures, and processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
  • 15+ years' experience with program management, customer management, capture, and/or business development.
  • Knowledge and experience with tactical missile opportunities with the Department of Defense.
  • Knowledge of customer acquisition processes.
  • Proven track record winning tactical missile prime programs (>$250M)
  • Current/active and in scope periodic review Secret clearance
  • Ability to be cleared to Special Access Programs (SAP) is a prerequisite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).
  • Weapons school graduate
  • Proven experience with DoD capture and/or business development (winning captures >$500M)
  • Experience leading and managing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience in program planning, budget development and execution, workforce planning, risk management, and the implementation of project processes and controls.
  • Current user and acquisition customer relationships.
  • Current/active TS/SCI security clearance.

This position reports to Northridge, CA, USA, however, this position can also be worked from McLean, VA, VA, USA.


Salary Range: $176,100 USD - $264,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
