Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) is looking for an experienced International Campaign Leader for growth of the E-2 airborne early warning (AEW) system.  The selected candidate will be responsible for campaign development and execution to include customer engagement, strategy development, refinement, and implementation for new emerging opportunities and mission expansion in international markets. The successful candidate will demonstrate and provide strong team leadership and a collaborative mindset.  This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement integrated capture and proposal strategy for E-2 international campaigns.
  • Develop and implement capture integrated capture and proposal strategy for multiple campaigns within a region.
  • Understand how NG systems meet the customers’ AEW mission requirements.
  • Work with engineers to develop mod/sim and mission scenarios that highlight customer mission sets and value. 
  • Develop and present executive briefings to internal and external customers. 
  • Identifies new markets, licensing opportunities, and determine the feasibility of entry and success for the international opportunity.
  • Performs economic analyses of foreign defense acquisition process, market assessment and/or business cases in evaluating new opportunities, leveraging Corporate and Sector resources
  • Ensure MDC2 Enterprise & NGAS Leadership, along with the International IPT and other executive management is kept informed in a timely manner
  • Coordinate closely with program and in-country teams
  • Ensure capture teams are adequately prepared and resourced to successfully progress through all phases of the business acquisition process (BAP)
  • Coordinate across functions and sectors to include corporate

Position Criteria:

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership characteristics and sales presence.
  • Proven leadership skills with a diverse team and a winning track record.
  • Proven track record and knowledge of U.S. Government foreign military sales process, ITAR, technology release/foreign disclosure and international acquisition/procurement policies and regulations in addition to best contracting approaches to meet customer and business unit needs.
  • Well versed in the industry including deep knowledge of our competitors and customers.
  • Ability to motivate and energize teams
  • Ability to develop and implement creative strategies
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50%.
  • Must possess strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be results driven and possess experience working in a collaborative team environment across functional organizations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree AND 9 years of experience leading capture efforts, OR a Master’s degree AND 7 years of experience leading capture efforts
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain and active DOD Secret clearance


Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • MBA or other Master’s degree
  • 10 years of direct International business experience
  • Strong understanding of aerospace or defense production line/engineering environments in addition to understanding of all elements to establish a successful program which will often include all life cycles of a product (e.g. development, production, and sustainment)
  • Military or operational background with experience in airborne early warning mission areas
  • Proven track record of leading large/complex international capture and wins
  • International business experience, including cultural awareness and foreign military acquisition process knowledge
  • Experience with multi-domain or Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) systems or programs
  • Multi-lingual candidates desired

Salary range: $152,100 - $228,100

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
