The Strategic Space Systems Division within the Space Sector seeks a dynamic Strategy Integration Manager to lead and execute a variety of strategic projects for the division. The position reports directly to Strategic Space Systems Director of Strategy. This position will preferably be located in one of the following locations:

  • Redondo Beach, California
  • Aurora, Colorado
  • Roy, Utah
  • Dulles, Virginia
  • Rolling Meadows, Illinois

The candidate must understand Strategic Space Systems missions, customers, core capabilities and competitor positions. This role is uniquely positioned to have insight into division strategy. As a result, the Integration Manager will be critical to future growth. The selected candidate will provide a breadth of support to the director in leading and executing projects that span the following:

  • Strategy: Supports all aspects of strategic projects and associated project teams across a diverse set of business opportunities. Develops plans, and executes strategy projects, and studies that will identify and drive new business opportunities for the division and its business units. These projects will span mission applications, customer requirement analysis, competitor analysis and company capability and will result in executable growth strategies.
  • Customer & Mission Strategies: Uses in-depth understanding of customers, missions, and mission needs to develop unique coherent conclusions.  Uses these conclusions and customer insights balancing many alternatives in the face of uncertainty to identify new applications for our products and capabilities.  Develops strategies to apply these capabilities to address these mission needs.
  • Market Strategies: Supports division projects to determine market requirements and gaps and develops strategies to address those requirements and gaps. Develops business cases and balanced rationale for pursuing/exiting businesses in these areas and makes recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Competitor Strategies: Execute target competitor analysis on a targeted set of business arenas. Uses those insights and understanding of Northrop Grumman capability to develop strategies and inform company actions.
  • Cross-Corporation Strategies: Develops relationships and understanding of capabilities in other Northrop Grumman space businesses to create compelling cross-corporation strategies and offerings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7 years of experience developing strategies to address DoD or US government business, business development and/or capture management
  • 5 years in a management or leadership type role
  • Experience with market assessments, analysis of competitors and potential partners, and strategy development
  • Must have a current, TS or SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • US Government space mission expertise
  • Northrop Grumman space system experience
  • Experience analyzing US Government space arena missions, customers and industry partners
  • MBA or equivalent

This position reports to Redondo Beach, CA, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 4 locations listed above.

Salary Range: $160,200 USD - $240,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
