Our Integrated Systems Operational Unit (IS OU) is at the forefront of emerging projects, products, systems, and technologies which is paramount to Northrop Grumman Australia’s growth strategy. This has opened up a new opportunity for a Capture Contracts and Supply Chain Lead to join the Integrated Systems Capture Team.

Your role:

As a seasoned Contracts and Supply Chain professional, you will play a key role in developing and implementing comprehensive contracts and supply chain engagement strategies in readiness for business winning activities.

You will present pricing considerations and strategies for planning of captures and execution collaborating with stakeholders to ensure best-in-class solutions with customers, partners and critical suppliers and subcontractors. Your exceptional analytical skills will clearly articulate areas of risk, issues and opportunities to improve commercial strategies aligned to the IS OU and Northrop Grumman's broader sourcing priorities.

Working closely with the capture, business development, pricing, sales, and ITC teams, you will generate cohesive and effective strategies that are compliant, competitively priced and purposefully aligned to the corporate strategy.

About you:

With demonstrated experience developing procurement strategies in business-winning environments, you have a strategic mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the defence industry and domains.  

Leading from the front you will have excellent communication skills and talent for building meaningful relationships using a consultative and collaborative approach.

With tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and proven expertise with AUSDEFCON contracts you will be well positioned to take on this dynamic role.

This position reports to Australia-Fortitude Valley, Queensland, AUS, however, this position can also be worked from Symonston, Australian Capital Territory, Australian Capital Territory, AUS.
