Northrop Grumman is seeking experienced and motivated professionals for a Contracts Administrative Support Analyst This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Woodland Hill, CA.

Positions will be located in our Woodland Hills, CA location.  Must be willing to come onsite.


Ideal candidates must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and follow compliance protocol.


 

Roles and responsibilities could encompass the following and vary slightly depending on specific position, program, or business unit to which you are assigned:

  • Support the entry of contractual data into ERP
  • Basic Ad hoc query request
  • Perform quality audits of Contract Data
  • Identify the anomalies in data and research the contract to understand the entries, correct errors as needed and ensure consistency within the accounting system.
  • Familiar with working cross functionally with multiple desk.
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency through review and comparison of functional input and contractual documents
  • Support integrated cross-functional data flow between key stakeholders and program management teams.
  • Provide data extraction and analysis to support all related compliance requests for information and data calls. 
  • Candidate must have strong organization and communication skills and be able to work cohesively with other functional organizations within the NGMS sector and Division organizations
  • The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
  • Duties & tasks are varied and complex. Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues.

Basic Qualifications for Level 1:

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite (excel, word, and PowerPoint)
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must possess a strong characteristic for attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem-solving; organizing and prioritizing work demands in order to meet critical deadlines.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Management or Economics from an accredited institution with a minimum of 1 year of financial work experience or 3+ years or relevant work experience with a high school diploma.
  • Demonstrate leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences.
  • The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and work within a team structure.
  • US citizenship is a prerequisite.

Preferred Qualifications or Level 1:

  • Experience in Data Analytics, Data Mining and Database management
  • Perform complex EXCEL spreadsheet, formulas, pivot tables and slicers.
  • SAP Experience or similar ERP software

Basic Qualifications for Level 2: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Management or Economics from an accredited institution with a minimum of 6 years of financial or DOD contracts work experience or 7 years of relevant education with a high school diploma.
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in strong data mining, database management and strong Microsoft Excel experience is a MUST.  To include strong knowledge of pivot tables, macros, V-lookups and managing large data sets.
  • Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform professional tasks independently.
  • The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and work within a team structure.
  • US citizenship is a prerequisite.

Preferred Qualifications for Level 2:

  • SAP Experience or similar ERP software


Salary Range: $70,200 USD - $105,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
