Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Level 4 Contract Administrator to operate as the Contracts Team Lead for the E-2 Repairs Program and join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located on site in Melbourne, Florida. Partial telework may be available.

Essential Functions:

• Administers, extends, negotiates, and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts
• Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
• Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepares bids
• Processes specifications, progress, and other reports
• Advises management of contractual rights and obligations
• Compiles and analyzes data
• Maintains historical information

Team Lead Functions:

• Manages the flow of day-to-day operations by assigning tasks to 4-5 team members and communicating clear instructions
• Determines completion timelines and monitors progress to keep workload on track and on schedule
• Collects status & communicates updates to company executives on the team’s progress
• Reviews team member work products for accuracy and quality
• Coaches and trains team members to develop performance while maintaining team training resources
• Leads critical, high value contracting activities
• Identifies and implements process improvement initiatives 

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience in Business Management or a Master's degree with 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience in government contracts
• Experience and knowledge of FAR/DFARS, CAS, and experience with DOD contracting
• Microsoft Office experience including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading a team of 4-5 junior employees
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills and computer skills
• Ability to effectively work with employees at all levels

Salary Range: $107,000 USD - $160,600 USD
