Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Contract Administrator (Level 2) or Principal Contract Administrator (Level 3) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Contract Administrator will be supporting the Aerospace Structures Business Unit.

This position requires a frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.

This position may be filled as a Contract Administrator (Level 2) or Principal Contract Administrator 3.

The ideal candidate will be a great teammate and possess the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks. They will be required to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks. They will possess the ability to work well with others in high-stress high-volume situations, effectively collaborate with internal functional and program organizations, effectively deal with external customers, and meet the goals/objectives of the Aerospace Structures Business Unit.

  • Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts.
  • Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and conduct customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Examine estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare bids; process specifications, progress, and other reports; advise management of contractual rights and obligations; compile and analyze data; and maintains historical information.

This position may be filled as a Contract Administrator (Level 2) or Principal Contract Administrator 3.

Basic Qualifications for Contract Administrator Level 2:
  • Master's degree with 1 year experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years' experience in Contract administration, Supply Chain and/or similar industry related areas.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Contract Administrator Level 3:
  • Master's degree with 4 years' experience or a bachelor’s degree with 6 years' experience in Contract administration, Supply Chain and/or similar industry related areas.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Legal or similar
  • FAR/DFARS Experience
  • ITAR/Export Licensing Experience
  • Contract Administration or Supply Chain Experience
  • Financial Accounting or Financial Forecasting Experience
  • Experience working within an IPT structure
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance

Salary Range: $57,400 USD - $86,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $70,600 USD - $106,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
