We are seeking a Contracts Administrator – Level 2 or 3 to join our team in Magna, UT and support of Space Sector Propulsion Systems Contracts team and programs.  This role will be responsible for the administration and oversight of contractual obligations and compliance. They administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts. They also conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration in accordance with company policies, legal requirements.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Represent the program office to the customer in matters of a contractual nature
  • Monitor baseline contract activities and administer anticipated future Task Orders
  • Provide general program contractual guidance regarding FAR and DFAR requirements and compliance
  • Administer on-time and compliant delivery of all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Accession List (DAL) items
  • Assist Program Supply Chain Manager in subcontract execution that complies with parent contract requirements
  • Assist with program market research and proposal efforts
  • Interpret and execute contracts while coordinating with proposal cost volume and contractual adherence
  • Process CDRL and DAL submittals and CDRL generation

Basic Qualifications for Level 2:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s Degree and 1+ years of professional experience
  • An additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of professional experience that includes contract management experience – OR – Master’s Degree and 4+ years of professional experience that includes contract management experience
  • An additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Knowledge of FAR or DFAR requirements
  • Knowledge and experience working with multiple contract types
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications for both levels: 

  • Prior experience in Space or Aeronautical industry
  • Prior experience with Air Force Prime Contracts
  • Experience with incentive fee and award fee contract types (FPIF, CPAF and CPIF)
  • Existing DoD Secret Clearance
  • Contract Management Certification(s)


Salary Range: $60,600 USD - $90,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $74,600 USD - $111,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
