The Contract Administrator 2 will provide Corporate, Sector and Divisional support in the operations of Contract Administration, Data Integrity, reporting and the development of dashboards/metrics to assist the Contract Department in ensuring integrity of the ERP systems.  Will administer and understand standard and nonstandard contracts and the contract administration function with respect to company policies, legal requirements to ensure performance requirements and delivery schedules are accurate and complete. Will also provide progress and other reports and advise management of compliance and analysis of the data.


The individual should have a knowledge of ERP and system capabilities and be able to navigate those systems to ensure data integrity of the system as well as the development of reports and dashboards/metrics.


Roles and responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:

  • Attention to detail and innovation to handle complex ERP support with minimal supervision.

  • Advanced compilation and analytical ability with experience in Data Analytics, Data Mining and Database management

  • Experience with SAP/Business Warehouse and various reporting/analytics tools such as Tableau and/or Blue Prism.

  • Excellent Organizational and Computer skills with advanced skills using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office 365, pivot tables, lookups, chart generation, etc..

  • Support Digital Transformation and Processes

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities; ability to start, oversee, and follow-through with major assignments and responsibilities in a timely manner.

  • Experience with financial analysis and/or reporting to support audits, compliance and Sector/Corporate Reporting

  • Have excellent verbal, written, presentation, communication skills

This position can be located in Fairfax, VA or Linthicum, MD and is open to a hybrid work schedule (NOT open to full tine remote)

Basic Qualifications:

  • (A02) Contract Administrator:  Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of applicable (internal or external) work experience or a Master's degree or JD with a minimum of 1 year previous experience (ideally in contracts, subcontracts, finance, or other business management related function).

  • Be attentive to detail and able to handle complex proposals and contracts with minimal supervision.

  • Have excellent verbal, written, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent Organizational and Computer skills with advanced skills using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office 365)

  • U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance. (Preferred but not required to start)

  • Advanced compilation and analytical ability with experience in Data Analytics, Data Mining and Database management

  • Experience with SAP/Business Warehouse and various reporting/analytics tools such as Tableau and/or Blue Prism and Power BI.

  • Experience with financial analysis and/or reporting to support audits, compliance and Sector/Corporate Reporting

  • Support Digital Transformation and Processes

  • Advanced Computer skills with MS Office Suite (pivot tables, lookups, chart generation)

This position reports to Fairfax, VA, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Linthicum, MD, MD, USA.


Salary Range: $67,000 USD - $105,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
