Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Manager Finance 2 for our Mesa AZ facility. The selected candidate will become an integral part of the operating unit's finance team and manage the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes.

The selected candidate will provide direct supervision to the finance team and coordinate all activities that relate to financial planning and reporting.  The selected candidate will coordinate and work closely with the Operating Unit finance manager and analysts, and other functions across the organization, to complete the following activities:

  • 5 Year Long Range Strategic Plan
  • Monthly Forecast Projections
  • Monthly actual closings and reporting
  • Monthly Operations Reporting Process and support the Reviews for the Operating Unit and Business Unit
  • Quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) coordination
  • Cash forecasting
  • Coordinate responses to Ad Hoc requests from Business Unit, Division, Sector or Corporate.

The selected candidate will be the primary point of contact (POC) for any financial data that needs to be reported up the Northrop Grumman hierarchy.  Position will require a good working relationship with the Business Unit finance staff to ensure our financial data is accurately and properly communicated.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Basic Qualifications

Will consider one of the following:

  • This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider High School diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 14 years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of related experience - OR - a Master's degree with 8 years of related experience
  • Financial Planning & Reporting experience
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work across cross functional teams to complete deliverables
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace/defense industry and business management experience
  • FAR/DFARS experience
  • Program cost control
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Cognos/TM1 experience

Salary Range: $105,600 USD - $158,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
