Northrop Grumman Air Dominance Division is seeking a Senior Cost Manager (S03) who will be an integral part of the Business Management leadership team in Melbourne, FL. This leader will be responsible for the Cost Management organization including Financials, Program Control, and Cost Planning with deep integration with the Business Management organization. This role is fast paced and demanding. It will require a high level of work ethic and strategic adaptability. This role will be responsible for the organization stand up and execution. They are accountable for Program performance reporting, analysis, compliance, financial forecasting and the AOP/LRSP. Position is a key interface with division and sector business management leadership and homerooms as well as DCAA/DCMA, Internal and External Audit organizations. They will partner with and support the Program leadership team, integrated product teams, control account managers. Responsibilities include Earned Value Management (EVM) deliverables, Financial Planning and Reporting, Process Improvements, Profit Analysis / Return on Sales, and Proposal Support. This position is also accountable for EAC and Risk/Opportunity Assessment, Program Baselines and Integrated Baseline Reviews, Auditory Compliance and Surveillances, as well as Division and Sector leadership ad hoc activities. They will partner with Business leadership and manage a group of Cost Managers and Program Cost and Schedule Analysts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong background and experience in leading teams or an organization directly or indirectly
  • 9 years of Finance/Cost/Business Management work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 7 years with a Masters
  • Extensive knowledge of Financial Forecasting and Profitability, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and discretionary investments
  • Interim or Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain PAR

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of EVMS Software (i.e. MPM or Cobra), SAP, Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting principles
  • Experience developing and presenting business strategies, financial information, and risk assessments to leadership
  • teams
  • Experience interfacing with customers or government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, as well as Internal Audit

Salary Range: $138,400 USD - $207,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
