As part of the Corporate Treasury Department, the Corporate Finance Analyst reports to the Corporate Finance Manager, and will support cash forecasting, corporate finance modeling, cash operations and other ad hoc projects.  The Corporate Finance Analyst will interface with sector and corporate departments, including legal, tax, accounting and payroll, and our external banking partners.  The candidate should have strong attention to detail, excel skills, interpersonal, oral, and writing skills to effectively communicate with others.
 

The Corporate Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the following Treasury activities, including but not limited to:

  • Management of the treasury cash forecast, including coordinating all relevant data collection with the sectors, running monthly calls with the sectors, analyzing all data, and running monthly reporting process out to senior management.
  • Establishment/improvement of process to formulate and assess international treasury cash forecast.
  • Continuously assessing ways to gain efficiencies in the cash forecasting process, whether through digitization efforts or manual efforts to improve overall accuracy.
  • Building strong relationships with sector finance contacts.
     

Additional activities could include:

  • Administration of revolving credit facility, including covenant compliance process
  • Assisting with trustee relationship management
  • Consulting with peers to assess cash forecasting best practices
  • Assisting with credit analysis and capital deployment activities related to the cash forecast
  • Supporting additional Treasury related projects
     

Basic Qualifications -

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance or related field with 3 years of relevant experience through work, internship, the military, or in a large corporate setting OR MS in Business Administration, Finance or related field with 1 years of relevant experience through work, internship, the military, or in a large corporate setting
  • Experience building, maintaining, and improving financial models
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • The ability to work a hybrid schedule – from home and on site at our office in Falls Church, VA
     

Preferred Qualifications –

  • Strong teamwork capabilities
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
  • Familiarity with SAP and HFM Reporting
  • Bloomberg Terminal experience

Salary Range: $70,200 USD - $105,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
