Northrop Grumman Corporate Office is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the Corporate Financial Planning & Strategy team in Falls Church, VA. This position requires a highly motivated, self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail. The selected candidate will directly report to the Manager of Financial Planning & Strategy.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Actively working with a team to achieve organizational and individual goals
  • Support the development of enterprise level financial forecasts with detailed analysis
  • Coordination and collaboration with sector planning and strategy teams and various corporate functions on a recurring basis, performing related analysis over financial trends, risks and opportunities, and downstream impacts
  • Assist in preparation of executive presentations with relevant supporting analytics
  • Assist in development and coordination of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and 5-year Long-range Strategic Plan (LRSP), including subsequent data collection and analysis
  • Support development of external financial guidance and quarter-end financial analysis
  • Support annual and long-term enterprise incentive compensation metrics through peer and plan analysis, and subsequent Proxy preparation
  • Support capital management decisions and strategic/M&A transactions, including valuation analysis, competitive peer analysis, and evaluation of the Company's business portfolio
  • Proactive process improvement approach to recurring deliverables, with a focus on increased data fidelity and reduced cycle time

Qualifications:
 

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4 - depending on the candidates education and years of experience

Basic qualifications for a level 3:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 6 years of applicable experience. Master's degree or CPA may be traded for 2 years of experience. Both may be traded for a total of 3 years of experience. Public accounting experience IF directly relevant may count for up to an additional year of experience for each year of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred qualifications for a level 3:

  • Experience in business management / planning and analysis within an OU, BU, Division, or Sector
  • Relevant experience in Big 4 Accounting / Equity Research / Investment Banking / or Private Equity
  • Experience with Hyperion Planning

Salary Range: $86,300 USD - $129,500 USD
Salary Range 2: $107,000 USD - $160,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
