Northrop Grumman Defense Sector is seeking a Principal (Level 3)/ Sr. Business Management Analyst (Level 4) to join its team of qualified, and diverse professionals. This position will be located in Warner Robins, Ga. This position is onsite and not remote.
The successful applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Defense Sector and will support the Systems and Software Solutions (S&SS) Operating Unit with indirect planning, CAPEX activities, tracking/consolidating information related to Data Calls, etc.
In this role, the selected candidate will:
The Business Management Analyst will support the Systems and Software Solutions (S&SS) Operating Unit within the Airborne Platform Solutions (APS) Business Unit. The Analyst will interface with the program managers, functional management, cost account managers (CAMs) and business managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet OU goals.
The Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to preparing monthly forecasts related to indirect expenses, Overhead planning, CAPEX, etc. The Analyst will also monitor, analyze, and report weekly performance of Overhead expenditures (including hours) to internal customers. The Analyst will also be responsible for coordinating and consolidating information related to Data Calls.
This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
Basic Qualifications Principal Business Management Analyst (Level 3):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or Business adjacent degree (Mathematics, Risk Management) from an accredited institution with a minimum of 5 years of financial work experience - OR - a Masters degree as described with 3 year of financial work experience.
- Basic understanding of Government Compliance.
- 1+ year experience in strong data mining and database management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, chart generation, VBA macros, etc.)
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
Basic Qualifications Sr Business Management Analyst (Level 4):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) or Business adjacent degree (Mathematics, Risk Management) from an accredited institution with a minimum of 8 years of financial work experience - OR - a Masters degree as described with 6 year of financial work experience.
- Basic understanding of Government Compliance.
- 1+ year experience in strong data mining and database management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, chart generation, VBA macros, etc.)
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP, COGNOS, or similar ERP software experience
- Professional experience in Aerospace & Defense, Financial Services, or Telecommunications.
- Experience supporting Direct-to-Program efforts
- Experience with CAPEX and Overhead planning
