SSSD has an opening for a Program Cost Schedule Production & Material Analyst 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, California.

The Program Cost Schedule Production & Material Analyst 2 will report to the Manager of Program Control and will be responsible for supporting Northrop Grumman SSSD programs in compliance with Earned Value Management. System (EVMS) requirements and program implementation.

This position requires the incumbent to possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) active Top Secret (TS) security clearance or access to Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI).

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide business management support for Production and Material on programs in compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements
  • Interface with Cost Account Managers and providing monthly Earned Value Management cost/schedule data for program
  • Cost Performance Reporting requirements utilizing COBRA
  • Develop variance analysis and preparation for cost performance reviews
  • Generate and analyze weekly material reports
  • Develop EAC Analysis
  • Utilize SAP Material Resource Planning (MRP) system, transaction codes, data field elements and material business management processes including Grouping Pegging and Distribution (GPD)
  • Support Integrated Product Team Business Manager on restricted programs
  • Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on programs requiring validated cost schedule control system
  • Maintain Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance including budget resource (cost) integration with the Integrated Master Schedule tasks
  • Prepare and maintain forecasts; develop and review Estimates at Complete (EACs); incorporate changes as authorized into the EVMS system
  • Partner with Control Account Managers (CAMs) on EVMS activities including but not limited to: Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and alignment; time-phasing of budget (BCWS) and estimate to complete (ETC) for IMS tasks; developing and documenting earned value methodologies; maintaining quantifiable backup data (QBD) for earned value  measurement; develop liens; analyze labor rates actual/budget/forecast; perform estimate to complete analysis; develop variance analysis ; preparation for Integrated Baseline Review and other reviews; incorporate changes into the EVMS system in order to maintain cost and schedule Performance Measurement Baseline(PMB)
  • Create and maintain financial visibility in support of program management and program reviews; identify cost impacts and develop recovery plans as required
  • Responsible for actuals reconciliation, budget change requests and ensuring proper accounting
  • Prepare cost transfers as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • An active TS Clearance and/or SCI Access is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years of Financial Analysis, Budget Management, Cost Accounting
  • Proficiency with SAP or Similar Material Resource Planning tool
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) in Aerospace and Defense
  • Proficiency with COBRA software (or similar project management)
  • Software, w/Insight, SAP Management Project Systems Module and Business Warehouse (BW)
  • Experience in the following disciplines include and are not limited to Procurement, Logistics, Purchasing, Subcontracting, Supply Chain Management and Production

Salary Range: $70,200 USD - $105,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
