Northrop Grumman Aerospace System (NGAS) is seeking a Program Control Analyst 2 or a Principle Program Control Analyst 3 in their Rancho Bernardo, CA facility to support the Global Surveillance Division. This position will be a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities will include;

This analyst will primarily support a high-visibility NG staffing Dashboard tool/process initiative across the Global Surveillance portfolio.  Duties will include weekly/monthly actuals and forecast updates and validation, process automation, tool/process enhancements to drive higher data accuracy, support to program queries/demos and staffing exercises, and other ad hoc requests related to the division Staffing tool/process.  These efforts involve large datasets and the ability to efficiently and effectively manipulate the data and perform analysis to clearly summarize findings and recommendations.   

The ideal candidate will be an advanced MS Excel user, thrive on data analysis, and possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:  obtain disparate data sets, synthesize and normalize the data, perform  analysis/data mining and visualizations to draw conclusions, effectively summarize and present conclusions to management; ability to use learn and financial systems; develop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexity; analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques; work under very general supervision while completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues to ensure proper management focus; exert some influence on peers and internal customers; good interpersonal skills while representing group on special projects out of own group. 

Level 2 Basic Qualifications;

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or related

3 years of related experience in financial analysis or

Master’s Degree with 1 year related experience in financial analysis

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)

Level 3 Basic Qualifications;

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or related

5 years of related experience in financial analysis or

Master’s Degree with 3 years related experience in financial analysis

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications;

Understanding of Business Systems (SAP/Cobra)


Salary Range: $70,200 USD - $105,200 USD
Salary Range 2: $86,300 USD - $129,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
