AOA Xinetics (AOX), a wholly-owned Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Payload and Ground Systems Division Business Venture, is a leading supplier of complex electro-optic and photonic systems and subsystems that control and manipulate light waves for a variety of applications. We are seeking a Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst (Level 2 or 3) to support our Special Programs Team. This position may be located in either East Hartford, CT or Devens, MA.

Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Program Planning & Control, the Program Control Analyst will provide financial analysis, pricing and program, planning & control supportOur ideal candidate will possess program cost control experience and collaborative people skills with the proven ability to work within a technically dynamic, high-growth, fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Business Management, Finance/Accounting, Program Planning and Control, and proposal support

  • Support Program Management by providing recurring and ad hoc project reporting and analyses

  • Generate customer cost reports as required by CDRLs/SDRLs including EVM reporting

  • Monitor projects to ensure that costs are within budget and negotiated contract and funded values and performance is within contractual scope

  • Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts and perform analyses of actual costs and estimates to complete

  • Prepare Government and Intercompany cost proposals that are consistent with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements; assemble and coordinate all cost proposal input and support proposal managers in generating adequate costing for internal review and external submission; provide fact-finding, negotiation and price certification support

  • Provide analysis of business area and program financials

  • Support, interact and communicate effectively with Senior Management, Business Area Management and functional organizations

This position may be filled at either a level 2 or a Level 3

Basic Qualifications for the Level 2:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or business related field

  • 2+ years of Program Planning and Control or Business Management experience

  • Proficient MS Excel skills and basic knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Project

  • Understanding of FAR, DFAR, TINA, CAS and EVMS

  • Ability to multi-task and meet demanding deadlines with focus on attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work well in a team environment

  • Good oral/written communication and organizational skills

  • U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for employment

Basic Requirements for the Level 3:

  • Same as above, but with 5+ years of Program Planning and Control or Business Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, DoD/Defense Contractor, Aerospace or related industry

This position reports to East Hartford, CT, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Devens, MA, MA, USA.


Salary Range: $70,200 USD - $105,200 USD
Salary Range 2: $86,300 USD - $129,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
