Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Principal Program Cost, Schedule & Control Analyst (Level 3) within our Business Management (BU) organization. This position may be located at any NG site.
The Principal Program Cost, Schedule & Control Analyst will interact with various operating unit, business area, and division staff to solve reporting program issues and meet reporting requirements. In addition, the Analyst will interface with program managers, functional management, control account managers (CAMs) and business managers to provide financial support and analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Active participation in program Earned Value in compliance to CPR/IPMR data reporting requirements; Facilitate preparation of earned value deliverables ensuring compliance, timeliness and accuracy. Manage baseline efforts, and support efforts for Initial Baseline Reviews (IBR’s) with customers.
- Prepare EACs to include earned value analysis, hands-on EAC updates, and revisions
- Support the monthly financial forecasting process to include analysis and recommendations on awards, sales, operating margin, and cash
- Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
- Internal and External support of compliance audits
- Assistance with contract negotiations
- Support of pricing and proposal activities
- Cash Management to ensure timely invoicing and collections
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Operations, Engineering and Program Management
- Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines
Basic Qualifications:
- This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider one of following: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 9 years of business, finance, and/or program control experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of business, finance, and/or program control experience
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with a minimum of 3 year of business, finance, and/or program control experience
- Strong computer skills with high-level Excel skills (i.e. working with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting)
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Earned Value Management and/or EVMS Software
- Experience with Deltek Cobra
- Defense Industry Experience
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze data and figures
- Prior program cost control experience
- Prior financial analysis and/or reporting experience
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
