Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector - Business Management Group- Contracts: Pricing and Estimating Team seeks a Principal Pricing Analyst/ Sr. Principal Pricing Analyst (A03 or A04) to join its team in Rolling Meadows, IL.
Responsibilities:
Pricing Analyst (Levels 1 through 5): Develops, evaluates and implements pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics. Conducts research and performs competitive pricing analysis. Monitors ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction. Partners with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements. Projects impact of pricing changes, individual promotions and rebate programs on revenue. Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.
Basic Qualifications: ·
- (Level A03) Bachelors degree and a minimum 6 years of related experience or a Masters degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Level (A04)- Bachelors degree and a minimum 10 years of related experience or a Masters degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Working knowledge of U.S. Government procurement regulations and the importance of compliance.
- Experience with Excel.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Proposals
Active DOD Secret Clearance
Experience working with Basis of Estimate (BOE) and analyzing BOE quality
Experience with Excel Pivot Tables
Proficient in using Pro-Pricer
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
