Northrop Grumman designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Northrop Grumman Weapons System Division is currently seeking a Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst to join our team in Plymouth, MN.
Position Summary:
- Prepare and present Estimate at Completion financial status in support of Corporate requirements on a quarterly basis
- Estimate monthly sales and operating margin by analyzing direct labor hours, raw material dollars, and other direct costs
- Assist Financial Shared Services (FSS) with invoicing
- Track and forecast invoice submissions and cash receipts monthly
- Manage the day to day financial requirements for multiple projects
- Work with the program team and support required program meetings
- Maintain project detail with Deltek/Costpoint
- Support customer required reporting requirements
- Forecast and analyze manpower needs based on current and proposed program budgets
The level hired to is based on the qualifications listed below.
Successful candidate will have proficiency in the following competencies: Manages Complexity, Action Oriented, Communicates effectively, Plans and aligns, Situational adaptability.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or Masters with 3 years of relevant experience; in lieu of degree candidate will have 9 years relevant experience.
- Successful candidate will have proficiency in the following competencies: Manages Complexity, Action Oriented, Communicates effectively, Plans and aligns, Situational adaptability
- Must be a US citizen
- Must be able to work onsite in Plymouth, MN
- Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred with degree in Business Administration or Accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Analytical skills
- Presentation skills
- Organizational/Time Management skills and ability to multitask
- Self-motivated and works well in team environment
- Experience with Earned Value Management System reporting
