Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Pricing Analyst. This position will be located in Roy, Utah

What You’ll Get To Do:

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develops, evaluates and implements pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics.

  • Conducts research and performs competitive pricing analysis. Monitors ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction.

  • Partners with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements.

  • Projects impact of pricing changes, individual promotions and rebate programs on revenue.

  • Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Job Qualifications: 

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Principal Proposal Analyst:  6 years of experience with bachelors; 4 years with Masters, 4 additional years of experience managing complex projects in lieu of degree 
  • Sr Principal Proposal Analyst:  10 years of experience with bachelors; 8 years with Masters, 4 additional years of experience managing complex projects in lieu of degree 
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP)
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
  • Experience in Pricing & Estimating, Proposal Management, Business Management, Subcontracts, and/or Contract Management,
  • Experience reviewing, understanding, and responding to customer requests for proposal (RFPs).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience leading and working on proposal team(s).
  • Analytical and detail oriented with strong project management skills.
  • Persistence and tenacity to meet deadlines in a challenging, multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to understand and apply established proposal processes.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with proposal teams.

Salary Range: $74,600 USD - $111,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $92,400 USD - $138,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
