We are actively seeking a Senior Commercial Officer who will be responsible for the day to day commercial and contracts management activities on specific multi-million pound contracts. To lead and plan the management of contracts and emerging tasking and to ensure that all contractual obligations are fulfilled.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Commercial point of contact for existing key contracts customers, including influencing key stakeholders on various Commercial topics.
  • Ensuring that contractual obligations are fulfilled.
  • Negotiate and agree scope, terms and conditions with Customers and Sub-contractors working closely with the relevant Programme Manager, Business Development Manager, Finance Team and Supply Chain team.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate governance & policy on contracts and associated areas.
  • Be a pro-active member of the wider Northrop Grumman Commercial function.

Your Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of commercial/contracts management in a defence environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally on all commercial matters.
  • Track record of building strong customer/stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensuring that contractual obligations are fulfilled. Experience of process development.
