Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector is seeking Contracts Administration Manager Level 2 on our F-35 team in Redondo Beach, CA.

The position will report into the F-35 Senior Contracts Manager. This position will be responsible for leading a team of contract administrators supporting the production contracts under the F-35 program.

Provides day-to-day management, oversight and direction, goal setting and tracking performance, coaching, training and development of staff, and performance evaluations

Responsibilities include: Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years or 5+ years with a Master’s degree and Government Contract Experience
• Experience with DoD contracting
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve contract objectives
• Demonstrated success within leadership roles
• Strong working knowledge of FAR/DFARS

   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree
• Experience working with Aerospace products and contracts
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
• Active DoD Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $122,200 USD - $183,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
