Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Principle Program Planning Scheduling Analyst based out of the Redondo Beach, CA location.

A successful candidate in this role will be interested/energized by and able to:

Technical advisor with respect to project schedule development from inception to completion for facilities project planning/design/bid/construction/close out, ensure all dates updated timely and schedule impacts reflected. Works with Facilities Project Leads and all project stakeholders to develop and maintain project schedules and related tasks. Incorporates critical program and function milestone need dates. Develops and maintains project schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones and constraints for construction projects of various types.

Monitors and actively participates in evaluating project and program scheduling issues while administering best practices and standards. Obtains accurate and timely project schedule updates from project team and performs QA/QC on information received. Creates and develops conceptual what-if schedules for multiple project types including large complex multi-year facilities projects. Performs Critical Path analyses. Prepares ad-hoc reports and analyses as directed by management.

Performs Critical Path analysis. Walks the construction sites as needed and checks the contractor’s weekly/monthly schedule progress; provides reports to the project AOR and upper management. Effectively communicates with the Contractor regarding all schedule/progress related matters and concerns in the weekly status meetings and all other schedule related meetings. Performs Project Schedule QA/QC reviews on a regular basis. Prepares reports as needed and directed by Management. Obtains accurate and timely project schedule updates from project teams and performs QA/QC on information received.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university plus 6 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree from an accredited university plus 4 years of relevant experience.

-Experience developing facilities planning, design and construction schedules

-Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret OR Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years, OR must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years.

-Experience working with Microsoft Project


Salary Range: $86,300 USD - $129,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
