Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) has an opening for a Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals supporting Beavercreek, OH. We are a world-class manufacturer of composite structures, radomes, and antenna systems for military applications.  We design and manufacturer solutions for our war fighters to keep our country safe and maintain peace on a global scale.

The Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst will be a part of the Supply Chain team and will create resource independent task program schedules, complete MRP related reservation tasks work order creation, and work with Operations to maintain, track and complete schedules to support on-time delivery of customer requirements.

The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to complete moderately complex professional tasks with minimal supervision, have excellent problem solving abilities to develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, be a stickler for details and overall accuracy of work and be able to work in a collaborative and highly interactive team environment while contributing to the completion of organizational projects and goals.  If you are looking for an opportunity to grow with a leader in the Aerospace Industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

*This is a 1st shift full-time, exempt level position working a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. This position requires onsite presence due to the nature of the role.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, develops, and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule.
  • Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Supports rough cut capacity planning.
  • Perform risk analysis.
  • Identifies, and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Utilize Gantt, milestone charts, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
  • Liaison Frequently with internal company and external contacts.
  • May make presentations to small groups.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years relevant experience (will consider 4 years of additional education or related experience in lieu of degree) OR Masters’ degree with 1 year of experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of scheduling experience.
  • 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to work within MS applications i.e., MS Word, (documentation) Excel (with the ability to create, edit, log and track data in spreadsheets).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance within a reasonable timeframe as required by the business.
  • Ability to obtain Special Program Access within a reasonable timeframe as required by the business prior to starting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MRP (Materials Requirement Planning)
  • Experience with Teams and Outlook 365
  • Experience with Deltek Open Plan

Salary Range: $63,800 USD - $95,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
