The Sentinel Program is seeking a Cost/Schedule Manager 1 to provide cost/schedule management support to Integrated Product Team (IPT) levels.  The selected candidate will report to the IPT Cost Schedule Manager and will partner with IPT leadership to manage all cost/schedule aspects. 

The Cost/Schedule Manager 1 will lead a team of cost/schedule professionals.  The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency of developing and motivating staff in a team environment with excellent interpersonal, planning, presentation and organizational skills. 

This position will require to report to worksite located in Roy, UT.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Leading all aspects of IPT cost/schedule performance objectives.

  • Ensuring effective compliance with EVMS requirements.

  • Overseeing and ensuring quality of cost and schedule data delivered to internal and external customers, including EVMS reporting requirements.

  • Leading IPT level engagements for Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs), Internal and External Audits, and other financial assurance engagements.

  • Providing insight and support to Subcontract Management Teams managing the supply base.

  • Identifying issues and make recommendations to management for resolution or mitigation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 5+ years of industry related experience – OR – a Master’s degree with 3+ years of industry related experience.

  • Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

  • Experience with Earned Value cost/schedule reporting (e.g. IPMRs, IPMDARs, CFSRs, and CCDR/CSDRs).

  • Experience leading teams to successful outcomes.

  • Experience operating within highly compliant business environments (e.g., Earned Value Management, TINA Compliant Cost Estimating, FAR/DFARS required Contracting, CAS, etc.).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with added emphasis on advanced Excel data analysis competency.

  • Experience in establishing a program baseline or significant experience in developing time phased pricing or estimating forecasts.

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.


Salary Range: $96,700 USD - $145,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
