Northrop Grumman Defense Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our products include launch vehicles, propulsion systems, missile products, subsystems and defense electronics, precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition, satellites and space components and services, and advanced aerospace structures.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is currently seeking a Financial Analyst 2/3 (Rates/Budgets Analyst) to join our team in Rocket Center, WV.


Position Summary:
Prepare Forward Pricing Rate Proposals for large manufacturing facility

Monitor/Review/Report Direct and Indirect Rates (Budget vs. Actual)

Prepare Quarterly Indirect Pool/Base EAC/IF projections

Monitor/Review/Report Local Indirect Expenses for large manufacturing facility

Direct Labor Yield (DLY) Reporting

Ensure/Monitor compliance with Government Regulations (e.g. Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR))

Ensure/Monitor compliance with company disclosed practices and regulations
 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Budget Analyst:

  • Must have 7 year of related work experience. Will consider: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related work experience. 1 Year of experience with a Masters degree. Degree preference is Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Successful candidate will have proficiency in the following competencies: Manages Complexity, Action Oriented, Communicates effectively, Plans and aligns, Situational adaptability.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Rocket Center, WV

Principal Budget Analyst:

  • Must have 10 years of related work experience. Will consider: Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related work experience, or 4 years of experience with a Masters degree. Degree preference is Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Successful candidate will have proficiency in the following competencies: Manages Complexity, Action Oriented, Communicates effectively, Plans and aligns, Situational adaptability.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Rocket Center, WV


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced Excel skills is highly preferred.
  • Experience with CostPoint and Cognos
  • Analytical Skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Organizational/Time Management skills and ability to multi task
  • Self-motivated and works well in team environment

Salary Range: $55,100 USD - $68,900 USD
Salary Range 2: $67,800 USD - $101,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
