Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the Circuit Design organization in San Diego, CA.
As a member of the circuit design team, you will be responsible for circuit development for the program enterprise. You will perform detailed
electrical circuit design, circuit level analysis, and LabView Design. You will support qualification testing by preparing test procedures and reports.
Finally, you will support hardware production manufacturing.
Note: This position can be filled at the Electrical Engineer or Principal Electrical Engineer level.
Basic Qualifications:
Basic qualifications for an Electrical Engineer - Bachelors in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 2 years engineering related experience, OR Master’s in STEM with 0 years of experience
Basic qualifications for a Principal Electrical Engineer - Bachelors in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 5 years engineering related experience, OR Master’s in STEM with 3 years of experience, OR a PhD in STEM and 1 year of experience
Experience with schematic capture and board layout using Altium Designer
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret DoD Clearance
Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on mixed circuit design
Experience with OrCAD, Pspice, or LTspice for circuit simulation
Experience with IPC and Military standards, and Northrop Grumman Circuit Card Design specifications
Statement of work includes detailed electrical circuit design, circuit level analysis, support qualification testing, preparing of test procedures and reports, and supporting hardware production manufacturing.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
