Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems (SSSD) is seeking a qualified Sub-Project Manager / Electronics Engineering Manager 1 within the Electronics Assembly and Test Department (EAT). The selected individual will be responsible for cost and schedule performance and execution for specific hardware package within the EAT.  The EAT Department handles all operations from board, slice and Unit level Assembly and Test.  This position is located in Manhattan Beach, CA.

In this role you:

• Serve as the point of contact for manufacturing through entire product life cycle on that package

• Participate in proposal, IDRs, fab, assembly, test, through delivery

• Lead and provide direction to a technical cross functional team

• Demonstrate leadership qualities and ability to motivate and engage cross discipline teams to execute efficiently

• Serve as the Cost Account Manager for typically over $15M total hardware package

• Accountable for cost and schedule variance explanations and EV methodology

• Participate in Tiger Teams and participate in various proposal efforts within organization. 

• Plan and coordinate a schedule with all of the required organizations including material.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's + 5 years of exp: Master's + 3 years of exp; PhD + 0 years of experience in a STEM related field

• Experience leading people and/or projects

• Experience and knowledge with Electronic Production procedures and manufacturing processes. 

• Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Aerospace flight production or design experience

• Experience with EVMS methodology

Salary Range: $123,200 USD - $184,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
